Opponents of immigration reform are pushing fear of infectious disease (ebola and TB) hard, targeting Mexican immigrants, despite the fact that there has only been one accidental case of Ebola and it came by plane from Africa not over the border. And by far the largest number of cases of TB are in the Asian immigrant population - four times as many as any other group. And thats only a rate of 18.7 per hundred thousand people. Plus theres a vaccine for TB which ought to render this a non issue.
