Oputa Chambers of liberty bows out of Faculty of Law deans cup competition after lossing on penalties in a tight contended match with Lord Denning chambers. In prepartion for the Deans cup finals which is part of our Law week cum dinner programme, Oputa Chambers of liberty knocked horns with their counterparts from Lord Denning chambers,in a match which started about 4.30pm this evening at Imsu primary school field. Oputa chambers fielded a team full of experience like Okwuchukwu Kamalu, Olebara Paschal and the other young energetic ones like Ugochukwu Iheme, Uzo, Alaribe etc. The match started on a high note as Oputa Chambers conceded an early goal as a result of a defensive error. Oputa chambers latter equalised late in the match to drag the Denites into extra time. After extra time the scores were still level and we went into the lottery being the Penalty shootout,the two teams were clinical and the woodwork denied the both teams on different occasions. But as fate may have it, our last kicker took a beautiful penalty after sending the keeper the wrong way only to miss his target. We congratulate the Denities and wish them well in the finals ahead.
