Oran Kearney admits Coleraine may have to bide their time over potential transfer targets. The Bannsiders is on the verge of landing Institute goalkeeper Michael Doherty. Kearney has also lined up a number of loan deals involving rival Premiership club, but injuries could delay any new arrivals. “The other clubs have a few injury, so the managers are reluctant to let any of their players go,” Kearney said. “It is one of those things we will continue to monitor, and hopefully next week we will have a clearer picture. “We also might have to wait to next Monday before the deal for Michael Doherty can proceed. “He is under an amateur contract at Institute, so I believe he is entitled to leave his club 5-7 days after he has notified them. “I think Michael is due to play for Institute against Linfield on Saturday, but if they can get someone in before then, then maybe we will get Michael sooner. “Again, we have to wait and see. It isn’t ideal but there isn’t much we can do about it.
