Ordered a book for a friend through amazon to be shipped to NY not sure where it was being shipped from in the beginning. I just sent this to the seller. I was in no hurry to get the book anyway and knew it would take some time. I just find the USPS service pretty funny as I track this package. I am in NC but grew up on Long Island which is where the book is going to a friend. Bare with the irony that I find amusing ( I promise it is not a complaint. They dont even know the book is coming) On Tuesday the 26th the pkg was in Smithtown, driving distance to Huntington without traffic 20 minutes. On Saturday the 30th it arrived in Hauppauge, thats a real good one because the towns are literally next to each other. In fact my sister lives in Hauppauge and her kids went to High School in Smithtown if that explains how close. So again the drive from Hauppauge would be be 20 -30 minutes depending on where the sort facility is located. Oh it gets better. A little over an hour later the package is now in Jersey City, NJ. Seriously? This is some of the funniest stuff ever. Our government is hard at work. So a Package that was in Smithtown on August 26th will arrive in Huntington on September 2nd which is an approximate distance of 13 miles. Happy Trails!!! My fellow Yankees would enjoy this. Cant see where it goes next before it gets to Huntington???
