A minister said I wasnt supposed to make any comment on my nation. As a minister of the Gospel,I was expected to fast and pray and fast and pray and fast and pray until Nigeria is better. That was during the 2012 subsidy crisis when people were loosing their lives. After much hullaballo,they said we could buy for N97 but I think recently I have continued to buy at the rate of N110 or N120. Or perhaps Im the only one who needs power to run many things. NEPA or PHCN or whatever they call it no longer functions properly and we must buy fuel and run 2 generators overnight. And thanks to them, the petrol to run our generator is much cheaper than pure water. I sometimes imagine what would happen if these wolves were in charge of oxygen...its as simple as ABC. All Nigerians will breathe on Nitrogen! But I am not bothered about that... Nigerians are rugged... Nigerians are endowed with the gift of longsuffering. We can cope with the increase in fuel and even buy at the rate of N1,000 per litre. But... How shall we cope with the continuous massacre of innocent people in a way that either reminds us of Chukwuemeka Ikes SUNSET AT DAWN or Buchi Emechetas DESTINATION BIAFRA? For how long shall we cope with the recurrent saga of Bomb Blast escapades that reminds us of Sylvester Stallone, Tom Cruise or Nicholas Cage? For how long shall we watch these movies without bringing to book these unfortunate Movie producers? For how long shall our innocent children be kidnapped while their caretakers invest their energies on electioneering campaigns? For how long will Abuja or anywhere in the North remain the butchers theatre? And if we are not careful, how safe are we in Lagos or Ibadan in the hands of the Leviathan? What a Nation! Even Sunday Services are becoming something else. Faithfulls now go to church with the bible in the right hand and a functioning pistol in the left. Perhaps Pastors may also begin to consider a little revolver in the pocket. May Jesus come quickly before we start seeing ushers in churches guarding worshippers with AK 47! If by now,policemen dont check you into your church on sundays,then I salute your faith. The reason for this insecurity is simple. A fish spoils from the head! Let every one that troubleth Nigeria be destroyed in a day. Let their ship sink in the midst of the ocean. Let those watching the slaughtering of innocent sheep with satisfaction shut their eyes and never open. Let stray bullets visit the looters in their closets. Let those who deceive us with vain political promises receive the slap of angels. Sincerely Lord,I am not saying you should kill them because you told us to pray for our enemies. But at least do Nigeria a favour: Let ALL those who trouble Nigeria enter a plane together and let their plane hang in the air on top of the red sea for the next 100 years! And at the end of a century,let their plane land safely on that Red Sea. King Pharaoh is waiting to host them at Dinner!
