Organic product certification has gone so big biz. Over the past 12 years that West Wind Farms has been certified organic, weve been sorry to see organic certification move ever more away from its farm-based roots. Big biz isnt our organic peer, nor our aspiration. Thats why for the past few years weve focused on the basics and certified only our farmland. Everything that comes from it is pure and good, no product hype. Well occasionally certify an individual product organic for a special purpose. Like our next batch of chicken will be labeled certified organic. But its raised just the same as our other batches. Focusing on the basics, keeping it simple and real.
