Organisms from every species, and I am talking trillions every - TopicsExpress

Organisms from every species, and I am talking trillions every year, die and decomposes naturally; all accept one, human beings. Embalming fluid, which is a class one carcinogen, is used today for two primary reasons--to allow time to observe social customs, and to “prevent the spread of infection”. But again, trillions of insects, fish, fowl and mammals die and decompose every year naturally. I will preface what I am about to write by stating that I am no environmentalist by any stretch of the imagination. In the long run embalming is not sustainable! These preservatives remove human beings from the “circle of life” by killing beneficial bacteria. If we keep making cemeteries, burying our embalmed dead and poisoning the ground of those cemeteries then eventually we will run out of viable ground. I know, I know, it will take a thousand years for that to happen. You are right but I did say it is not sustainable in the long run.
