Ascension to Super Producer (jokes). Most popular video game remix to date. Was featured on Segas website at one point. This is my take on the final boss theme from Sonic 3, but based on the circumstance it was used in at the end of Sonic 3 & Knuckles (before Mecha Sonic went Super mode). Music wise, this is my first time using a lot of sound effects, and approaching music from a more soundtrack element perspective (instead of the general singer/rapper catered sound I do). I wanted to convey the moments of the battle through the music, a few buildups and breakdowns. Instrument selection was the only hassle, but worth it. Besides that though, this was fun to make, my PC did give me issues, but that felt like a boss battle in itself that I wasnt going to lose to. The chords were cake walk, put in most work with drums and lead synth. The grimey bassline was fun, roller coaster like vibe. Piano section at the conclusion of battle. End result...imo, this is a masterpiece (lmao sounds cocky I know). If I actually equalized this, and knew how to use filters at the time...it would have been something beyond, but the sound still holds well as it is. Nothing else for me to really say, Enjoy!
