Originally the Museum had agreed to accept the Boulton Paul Defiant replica, recovered artefacts and the Boulton Paul boardroom furniture on permanent loan from the Boulton Paul Association. Discussions have been taking place over the last couple of months between the Boulton Paul Association and our very own Dave Brocklehurst MBE, culminating in a decision by the Association to donate all these items to the Museum Trust. All the paperwork for the Transfer of Title has now been completed and we are therefore Very Pleased to Announce that we, the Museum Trust, now own the beautiful Boulton Paul Defiant replica and associated items. Cyril Plimmer, Chairman of the Boulton paul Association sums it up in his note to us Enclosed your copy of the Transfer of Title Form. Whilst this is a huge emotional time for us all, we are happy that we have found a good home for the Boulton Paul Heritage...
