Orlando Pirates and Tlou Segolela have failed to come to an agreement over a new contract and if nothing changes, the latter could be leaving. According to Bucs coach Roger De Sa, Pirates made their ‘best offer’ but the player was still not happy with the deal, hence he was spotted sitting in the stands during Pirates’ match against AC Leopards on Saturday night at Orlando Stadium. “I was told that Tlou is not a Pirates player, because his contract expired… He didn’t come to an agreement with the club and you got to respect that. “You got to sign a contract to play for a club and at boardroom, there was a disagreement so they didn’t agree terms and the player decided not to sign,” De Sa discloses. He adds: “The club decided that was the best offer they could make.” Segolela’s contract expired on June 30 and a couple of weeks ago, Sox reveals that he had met the chairman Dr Irvin Khoza and agreed that he must stay. However, it seems the midfielder spoke too soon. He couldn’t be reached for comment this time around.
