Orphanage Sues For Public Support BENIN CITY- The Managing Director of Oronsaye Orphanage in Benin City, Professor Jude Oronsaye has sued for public support for orphanages in the society. The professor who made the call in a chat with newsmen in Benin City said such support would positively impact on the lives of orphans. According to him, orphans requires the assistance and support that would enable them live meaningful life. He said it is imperative for government to understand the relevance of orphanages in the society, saying that most have had to contend with the challenge of financing their operations. He noted that government at all levels have not provided adequate support and therefore urged government to appreciate the existence and welfare of orphans in order to give them a greater sense of belonging. Professor Oronsaye however expressed appreciation to individuals and corporate organisation who through various support have assisted in given meaning to orphans in the orphanage.
