Orrin and I, and our horses Gypsy and Clay, got inducted to our horse trailer and a few of Bonita Lakes Trails today. We wanted to try out our new trailer, so decided to go and then ride a short little ride before coming home. Horses did great in the trailer and we saddled up and headed out. I was looking for the trail someone told me about that was relatively flat and open along the power lines , but you know how men are. Orrin said We are going to take Shirleys Loop. I was a little anxious, but map in hand, we started out. This trail was anything but flat and open, with lots of big steep hills, logs to cross, etc. Then we finally come to an open nice wide road, and I was so happy, until... dead end both directions. So, took a deep breath and headed back on Shirleys Loop . NOT a short ride later, we arrived back at the Ag Center with two very sweaty and tired horses and a sigh of relief from me that our horses proved to be very nice trail horses and got us back safely :-) Thank you Clay and Gypsy ♥♥
