Osa Masina is a TROJAN!!! Score a huge win for SC and Coach Sarkisians staff. Today at his high school,Brighton, 4 star LB Osa Masina announced his commitment to USC (choosing them over UCLA and ASU) Osa looked at USC and the NFL players its producing at linebacker, states Brighton football coach Ryan Bullett. and the fact USC is a brand name. Its recognizable around the country. Before his announcement, Masina hosted coach Sark and the USC coaching staff for an in home visit, the ONLY one he had. Both ASU and UCLA staff members visited Masina at his high school t try to win him over but it was too late. He never had a leader, according to Masinas mom, Tamina. But Coach Peter Sirmon truly outlined to him the role he would play, where he would fit in that defense and what he would need to do to get on the field right away. Masina also stated that he felt he could benefit alot from the networking possibilities that USC provides post his football career. This is another big get for USC as we head towards Feb 4ths signing day and with Masina signing, I feel more than confidant we can get fellow SLC LB Porter Gustin and several other high prospects including John Houston, Biggie Iman Marshall and Rasheem the Dream Greene.
