#Osh: Three girls from banned Hizb ut-Tahrir detained in #Kyrgyzstan Law enforcement authorities have detained in southern Kyrgyzstan three girls, who were members of banned religious extremist organizationHizb ut-Tahrir, the Internal Affairs Department of Osh told Interfax. According to police, officers of the 10th unit of the Internal Affairs Department have identified the female wing of Hizb ut-Tahrir banned in Kyrgyzstan. "Three young girls aged between 18 and 20 have been detained," police said. "During the sanctioned search of an apartment, where one of the detainees lived, 25 CDs, two leaflets, one USB card, three notebooks - all with the idea of Hizb ut-Tahrir - and 13 books containing appeals for creating a caliphate were found," the Internal Affairs Department said. According to police, religious and extremist materials calling for creating a caliphate and promoting the ideas of Hizb ut-Tahrir were found and seized in a flat of two other detainees. All seized materials were sent for theological testing. According to the detained girls, they joined Hizb ut-Tahrir about a year ago, police said. fb/alkhilafah
