Oshiomole has tasted that bitter pill caused by careless and unguarded utterances, actions and inactions as he is forced to apologize to that poor widow who he treated in such painful manner. Watching that video on YouTube sent cold shivers down my spine that a man who calls himself a leader can even do that despite the cries and pleas of that woman. It was horrible to watch. But then, God works in mysterious ways and in His own way, he has used Oshiomoles foolishness to turn the life of this poor widow around. Only she can tell how she suffered since the death of her husband, a policeman slain in the service of his country. Only that poor woman knows how many times she went on her knees and cried to God for help. Did she even believe that she would be able to make N10,000 profit from her wares this month? God really does work wonders when His time is right as he used Oshiomoles mistake to change this seemingly doomed destiny. She was still recovering from PDPs N250,000 gift when Oshiomole gave her the biggest honor of her life - having breakfast with the governor and having him apologize on national TV - and also upped the money rain by giving her N2million among other things such as scholarship. God used Oshiomole to uplift this woman and at the same time teach him and other leaders a big lesson. A leader must at all times be mindful of his or her utterances, actions and inactions. Those people who keep threatening us with blood can never be classed as leaders. A leader is always cautious of whatever he or she does and a leader must always be ready to admit his errors and make amends as Oshiomole has demonstrated. If Chief Ikedi Ohakim had done something like this as I advised when he had the Reverend Father issue, maybe his case would have been different but like many, they do not want to listen to my advise until it becomes too late and they realize I was right. This is an eye-opener for our leaders and also a source of hope to those without hope that as God transformed this widows life, so also will He transform your life if you have faith in Him. My prayer to you is that may that disappointment in your life turn into a blessing, may those you dont know become the source of your upliftment and may Gods Goodness and mercy be with you always.
