Oso Update: Oso dog has made some improvement, yesterday he could not walk or even stand and he had a severe head tilt and was doing the alligator roll to try and find right side up. He is now eating and drinking and able to stagger around enough to go to the bathroom. Vet gave him a second round of diarrhetic and steroids. He has not needed more Valium but we have it on hand if he dose. He still has a head tilt and shifts around a lot to try to find a comfortable way to lay. He has some prednisone they sent with us. The vet said they have done all they can as far as the treatment that he needed in the immediate first 48hrs and that following his last treatment this morning there would be no more value in treating him with this regimen any further. If he dose recover it could take up to several months to really find out what we are left with. It is important to us that he has at least a good quality of life. So we are hoping for further improvement even if its slow and we will just wait and see.
