Other birds today over high tide in comparison to hoylake which had no redshanks or grey plover these were quite numerous at Southport ,I also had little egrets well into double figures north of the pier and two at birkdale along with more grey plover ,fewer knot than on Wirral but large roosts of oystercatchers and cormorants , not so many dunlin and no Sanderlings and a few BT Godwits , still Broad Billed Sandpiper wahoo
