Other than concepts and big pictures, intuition is, by nature, dynamic & focused on the future. In contrast, sensing is hard-facts, details, static & focused on the past and present. N-types need to always remember that we are the minority. The MAJORITY think of factors & situations as static & unchanging. Since the future has not arrived yet & therefore has no hard-facts that can be seen, heard or felt otherwise, S-types dont trust it. Yet, we N-type know that it is the over-reliance on the senses that blinds people from foresight. Nonetheless, we bear with their preferences. We need to be patient and understand that both camps have our uses. The task of maintenance & corrective action falls on the S-types. The task of change & preventive action falls on us N-types. Naturally, having such opposite dispositions, we N-types will disagree with S-types. Yet it is our ability to get along that makes a team work.
