Other than in the movies, relationships are not born perfect! So many of my friends and loved ones have conflict at this moment, and all I can say is, dont bolt when things get rocky! Thats not the answer. Find a positive way to communicate at the VERY moment something is irking you. Dont hold things in until all that can pop out is a break-up or horrible hurtful words. We LEARN in a relationship over time, HOW to communicate with the other. If two people were exactly alike, how boring would that be?? It would be like dating yourself. When one partner does something less desireable to/around the other - communicate EFFECTIVELY. This is how we learn more about the person we are with . . . how we go deeper in the relationship. Thats where the work comes into a relationship. Anyone in a relationship can HONESTLY tell you - the LOVE is always there, but sometimes you feel it WAY more than others. It doesnt mean something is wrong, its natural. Like the ocean, just wait and before you know it - the tide always comes back in. So relax, let go, put the damn phone down, get off of twitter or facebook (not yet, Im almost done - lol) and communicate with your partner. Dont expect perfection, expect communication, connection and affection! That is all!! Happy Saturday!! xoxoxox
