Other than seeing my friend Heidi Koch for the first time in 10 years, which was wonderful, the rest of my day yesterday sucked! I got a flat tire on the horse trailer. Then I couldnt throw a heel loop- AT ALL! I got hollered at by my instructor, and we both were totally frustrated. I told him I wasnt quittin on him, and he better not quit on me! After several hours my hand was blistered, my back and shoulders were sore, and I had to stop before I could do any part of it right. Didnt sleep at all because I was roping all night long in my head! Went out to feed this morning, to find my horse Smarty totally lame on the right front. And hes not even the horse I rope on. So I just spent 3 hours in my garden weeding- therapy for a country girl!
