What might audiences find in this production of THE TEMPEST that they might not find in others? GERAINT: It’s a story of revenge, regret, and redemption. Prospero has spent twelve years alone with one person—only his daughter—and his wish for vengeance, but he finds himself by letting go of the bitterness and also by seeking a way out for his daughter. As he’s embarking on the next section of his life, he’s very much aware. It’s an awakening, and I think that’s very interesting in this stage in one’s life.
