Otw back JB. Its already approaching 1am in the morning. When making a round turn up to the flyover, suddenly we noticed a guy standing in the middle of the road diverting our car to fast lane. Then I notice a motorcycle and a car stopped right after him. As I shifted to fast lane, the guy again waved at me...but this time signalling me to stop. This is after midnight and the first thought that crossed my mind was is this a trap? Or a svam? And should I stop? Also at that moment I notice a lady was standing beside the car. After a quick discussion, my friend and I decided to stop our car to assist. Later on we found it was the ladys car that had issues. Apparently the car stopped all of a suddenly while going up hill and she couldnt start no matter what, what is worse is that her young daughter (who is also sick) was with her in the car. As my friend began diverting traffic with his handphones flashlight, we tried to jump start her car engine using my car battery. It worked but the engine died soon after. We couldnt jump start the engine even after many attempts. We even tried swapping my cars battery but it just wouldnt fit hers. So I suggested to send her and daughter back home and leave the car behind so that the mechanic or the toll truck to manage it in the morning. But she was concern that if others miss seeing the car they may crash into it, afterall its stranded at a pretty sharp turn. ( at this point we have given up on `Plus`, our numerous attempt to call for assistance ended with... Tak tahu jalan apa la... ) So we jumped start her car again, but as soon as she switched on the lights. The engine died again... After more attempt, we finally agreed to take a chance. To just get the engine started but drive without the headlights on, as we trail her closely from the back. So everything went as planned at first, however soon when we were heading downhill the engine died, but since its downhill the car kept on going and that helped to cover quiet a distance. But as it started slowing down and at that very moment our hero (still on his motorcycle) swooped in and pushed the car to give it the extra edge to move further and miraculously the car kept going and going... Everytime it slowed down he swooped in again and again right until we reached her house and parked the car safely. This whole incident took us about an hour. Mr Suresh is such a great man willing to stop by and assist Ms Dania so late in night. He help unconditionally and really put in so much effort to help. Its not easy to push a car while riding on motorcycle. Salute to him. Regardless of race and religion, we are all human afterall... We must help each other. This truely reflect what it means to be Proud of being Malaysian. By-Yeowzer Yeow, with Suresh Menu&Dania Qaisara
