Our 2014 Leadership Lorain County Internship Program summer interns hosted a “Summer Social” at our Child Enrichment Services in Elyria. The families enjoyed ice cream sundaes and face painting along with filling goodie bags full of essentials such as toothpaste, undies and shoes to start the new school year off right for school agers and their siblings. The kids had fun “shopping” at the different stations set up by our fabulous interns. A huge thanks to the Nordson Corporation Foundation for their generous donation of backpacks filled with school supplies for each of our school-aged children! Nordson employees were also on hand to help paint faces, dish out ice cream and help each child try on shoes. Thanks you Nordson Corporation Foundation for your continued support of Neighborhood Alliance and our neighbors in need in Lorain County. Also thank you to our interns for all of your hard work this summer. You all did a fantastic job!!! :-)
