Our 2nd meeting has planning almost complete. Here is the plan....Friday, June 27 -- we are meeting at The Village Inn in Mill Village. There we we have the use of the back area. There will be a DJ provided by the generous hosts (Debbie Burger Malinowski). A 50/50 and Chinese Auction are included. Saturday, June 28 -- we have rented a banquet barn at Port Farms on Stonequarry Road in Waterford. We will begin with light appetizers. Our menu includes your choice of Open Pit Chicken and BBQ pulled pork, sides of Mashed garlic red potatoes and seasoned greened beans, salad, and rolls. Also provided is Ice Tea, water and coffee service. We will have a bonfire, music,and mingling. We are shooting for Sundays picnic at Jerry VanTassels picnic grounds at Candotha Lake or some other such place. So, save the date! Invitations will be sent out and RSVPs will be very greatly appreciated to ensure enough food is available. If youve moved and want to ensure that your invitation is received, please make sure I get it. We are also asking for help the baskets and various items for the Chinese Auction.
