Our 9 and 7 year old niece and nephew on Rorys latest painting: Deacon, in deep thought, regarding the painting: They look like grapes. Me: What Deacon, her boobs? Ava: Yeah, he calls boobs grapes and the other thing is a magic stick, so nobody knows what hes talking about. They both giggle that kids-talking-about-bits giggle. Me: Well you will both be grown ups with grown up parts one day you know. Ava: You mean we will grow deer heads? Smarty pants kids, theyll be just fine. Later in the convo one of them made a sheepish face and said we dont ever talk about this stuff with...*looks around*...grown ups! Im *that* grown up. Rory Coyne
