Our APPEAL for the welfare of coastal Andhra: If the division of Andhra Pradesh state is inevitable, our region (Coastal Andhra region) has to be self-sustained, developed in all sectors. To make our region independent in all aspects, we should stress on the following issues: 1. What was taken from us should be given back to us. Prior to year 1953 (Before the formation of separate Andhra Pradesh state), BHADRACHALAM sub-division was a part of EAST GODAVRI/GODAVARI, province. It separated from East Godavari for administrative convenience. BHADRACHALAM should be again included in East Godavari District. 2. Polavaram project should be taken up by the Central Government and the work must be completed at the earliest with the funds of Union Government. 3. Krishna and Godavari rivers should be linked up as a part of Polavaram project. 4. Proper planning and implementation for the supply of Godavari waters to Visakhapatnam. 5. MMTS Trains with Electric traction along the existing High way or road should be granted and constructed between the following towns: a. Anakapalle to Srikakulam and Tagarapu valasa to Vizianagaram b. Eluru to Chilakaluri peta. c. Immediate attention and implementation of Doubling and Electric traction works of Railway line between the places: NIDADAVOLU-BHEEMAVARAM-NARASAPUR-GUDIVADA-MACHILIPATNAM-VIJAYAWADA. 6. Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada and Renigunta Railway divisions put together must be formed as separate Railway Zone. 7. To import the gas along the coastal line (BAY OF BENGAL) Two (2) bases should built. Let us join our hands to build a self-sustained and independent coastal Andhra!!
