Our Alice Costello Brooklawn Elementary School, K-8TH, Basketball team compiled a 102 win, 2 loss Record. Team included the four pictured above, Sammy Franchi, Tom MacAdams, Bruce Darrow, James Rebstock. John Ashe, Singer of the Sixties Group, The Shondells, was most entertaining for three Hours, at the Brooklawn Classic Yearly Wiffle Ball Games, and the Magnificent Brooklawn Summer Concert Series. Bruce and Jill Darrow were gracious, and hard working Hosts, honoring Tommy MacAdams, a former Basketball Teammate, and precious friend, having played Baseball, and years of stick ball, and even Football with Tommy Mac. Great Day of Baseball, Wiffle Ball Style, and Entertainment, was had by the hundreds that Enjoyed the BEAUTIFUL WEATHER, and all the Festivities! Rachel Dickerman also performed, along with an amazinly talented Elvis Impersonator, delivering a flurry of songs, that sounded as if ELVIS PRESSLEY WAS IN BROOKLAWN NJ., Saturday,8/31/13.
