Our Bay Area impact day has been announced -- and its happening at the Gill Tract Farm in Albany!! Im very excited for this one, cause this land was occupied and rebel-farmed by the community (totally renegade, tilling by hand, planting seedlings, hand-hauling in water, etc), and then after a long battle with the university (who wanted to use the previously-vacant land for bioengineering research and commercial development to make a profit), they were awarded an area of the land to continue farming!
