Our Brisbane office hosted the Australian Business and Community Network Focus female leadership program for students. The participating students were selected for their leadership potential and came from local Brisbane schools including Balmoral Senior High School, Kingston College and Marsden Senior High School. The aim of the program is to support and encourage them as leaders, while being mentored by executives and women in senior positions from several different industries. Monadelphous’s commitment to self-development, achievement and diversity made our office an ideal location for this workshop to take place. Facilitated by EC Business Improvement Analyst Jeannine Bayne, the students and their mentors participated in a range of activities that developed a greater awareness of their strengths, improved their leadership skills and prepared them for interviews in the corporate environment.
