Our CLYLP College Fellows had their LAST day working at the Capitol today (their Fellowship ends on Saturday). In addition to bittersweet farewells with their legislator bosses and staff, they ended the day with a sweet meet-and-greet with the boss, State Senate leader, Darrell Steinberg, who interrupted his slammed schedule to hear the Fellows stories about their month at the Capitol, and he shared his own reflections about his work, his career, and gave advice to the students about being a future leader of California!
