Our Central Committee is sad to share the loss of our friend and co-member, Gary. He designed our fantastic Hamilton County Republicans website and he will be deeply missed by us. Gary Lee Estrada Sr. (May 27, 1956 - August 10, 20 U.S. Veteran Gary Lee Estrada Sr, 57 years, of Webster City, Iowa and formerly of Fort Madison, died at 4:50 pm Saturday, August 10, 2013 at the Hospice House in Fort Dodge, Iowa. He was born May 27, 1956 at Iowa City, Iowa, a son of Antonio Valdivia Sr. and Evelyn Eleanor (Meyers) Estrada. On June 11, 2003, he married Linda Jetter. Gary was a 1974 graduate of Fort Madison High School. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. Later he took classes at SCC, IWCC, and Metro Tech. While in Fort Madison he worked at Pilley Brush, Sheaffer Pen, and Gregory Manufacturing. In 1994 - 1995 he served as a Councilperson-At-Large for the City of Fort Madison. In Webster City he worked at Vantec. He enjoyed bowling and working on computers. He was active with the Republican Party. He dearly loved his dogs. He is survived by his wife, Linda Jetter, of Webster City, Iowa; three sons: Patrick Estrada, of Council Bluff, Iowa; Gary Estrada Jr, of Council Bluff, Iowa; and Antonio (wife Jennifer) Estrada II, of Donnellson, Iowa; one daughter Angie Estrada, of Omaha, Nebraska; one step-daughter Lisa (husband Bill) Smith, of Webster City, Iowa; three brothers: Antonio M. (wife Lisa) Estrada Jr, of Fulton, Missouri; Richard Estrada, of Fort Madison, Iowa; and Douglas Estrada, of Fort Madison, Iowa; two sisters, Rosita “Rosie” (husband Kenny) Eid, of Wever, Iowa and Sharon “Diane” (husband Richard) Bollin, of Donnellson, Iowa; nine grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother and an infant sister, Kimberly Estrada. His family will meet friends from 5:00 - 7:00 pm Friday, August 16, 2013 at the Barr Memorial Chapel, Fort Madison. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 am Saturday, August 17, 2013 at the Harvest Bible Fellowship, with Reverend Jon Heyland officiating. Burial will be at Soldiers Circle, Oakland Cemetery, Fort Madison, Iowa with full military rites. A memorial has been established, and contributions may be made at the Barr Memorial Chapel, Fort Madison, Iowa or at the church on the day of the service.
