Our Client An International Mining, Logistics & Construction Company are looking for a Chief Financial Officer in Zambia. Job Description - CFO Maintain and improve accounting and control procedure in line with internal and Zambian regulation Supervise monthly closing and cost accounting reports Analyse and control costs, follow up the cash flow and bank accounts Build up and follow up budget Taxes control and payment Cash control (cash and bank account) and forecast Prepare Finance reports Consolidation Compute and pay taxes in due time Take part in the investment projects within Zambia Candidate Requirements - Min 5 years years of experience as a CFO, or Deputy Head of Finance 10 to 15 years total experience in Finance Some years in an audit firm is a plus Knowledge of Finance, accounting, budgeting and cost control principles Knowledge of financial and accounting software applications Ability to analyse financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections Hands on Willingness to work a flexible schedule and under stress Solution orientated Team Orientated Very strong ethics and sense of responsibilities Knowledge of IFRS is a plus CA is a plus EarthStream is a specialist global recruiting business dedicated to the energy, resources & environment sectors that is uniquely positioned to understand the interplay and increasing convergence between these sectors.
