Our Constitution puts a civilian in charge of the military and as a result a coup would not be constitutional. Youre not going to see a coup in the military. says Army General (ret.) William Boykin. OK, this explains that part. (And if you think of it globally, historically, it makes sense. *Sort of*.) Now how about the D.C. people we elect to take care of the affairs of the nation? Cant the military march those deadbeats, those oath breaking, broken promises, opposition-accommodating type out of their expensive offices THAT WE PAY FOR and into the list of ever-growing list of unemployed.
