Our Daily Word July 25, 2014 Romans 12:19 Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God, for it is written, “Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord.” Scripture recognizes that humanity exercise authority in various capacities and ways. However, it insists that all human authority derives ultimately from God himself. To vent is unwise, to allow God to repay those have hindered ones joy in life is the ultimate defense where one positions themselves to be Christ like. Yes my friend when we allow God’s vengeances to come forth by forgiving others; know this, that person will find themselves in God’s promise.
