Our Economy, the Ghanaian economy, they say is a middle income - TopicsExpress

Our Economy, the Ghanaian economy, they say is a middle income economy yet with so much unemployment and poverty. Its structure is capitalist in nature. We been using this model since we accepted democracy 1992. This capitalist model never help to reduce unemployment neither did help to reduce poverty yet we still believe in that model. Isnt wise to change another to see what will happen. It is strange that we still used this model and still remain where we are. For us to grow as nation we need to have totally control over our resources. However, these resources are the hands foreigners in name privatization. It is crystal clear that this model is a failure and needs to be change. But who is ready to crack the wheel? We have two parties who had the opportunity to manage the economy and they both failed. Why did they failed? Because they are using the same model, so the value will be the same. It is high time to change them and bring new ideas for us to be able to move. The new idea should be in conformity with our culture. That new idea should inculcate the sense of patriotism and self believe that the black man is capable of managing his own affairs as my Mentor once said. If government should support the private sector, then government should also control the private sector. It is a shame where we are at the age of 57years. Shame on our leaders and shame on us. I will end by saying Tweaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!
