Our Elf doesnt do anything cool.. Our elf is lucky if he remembers to move places in the am.. Our elf doesnt bring candy.. My kids are bummed.. all their friends elves do awesome things.. So heres my mom fail.. I got pissed! When my daughter said so and sos elf left a note and had them treasure hunt and at the end there was candy, why doesnt Jaques do anything like that? I wanted to say.. Because I, your elf, has 4 kids and I am lucky of I remember to move the elf! As it is with Lunches and bedtime and clean up your dad and I dont even sit down until around 11(if we are lucky), I dont really feel like adding Elf mischievousness to my plate! But I didnt say that.. I said.. What is Christmas about?!! Its Jesuss birthday! Its a season of giving... Its not about what we get and whose Elf gives them more things or how awesome someones Elf is! Shouldve stopped there but heres where I fell into the trap.. The overachieving elf on the shelf stupid trap.. I said.. Our elf only moves spots because he flys to Different parts of the world every night and helps children in need, he doesnt bring them candy, he brings much needed food and water to those in need.. You kids dont NEED anything! You are provided for! So your elf is tired from going to the North Pole and all over the world!!... So sorry if he doesnt bring you candy.. Hes SAVING the world!!! Ummmmmm.. Yeah... Way to take the fun out of that one and all they wanted was for me to leave them a note or something👍👏
