Our First TEDxUNLV Adventure is at UNLV’s Barrick Lecture Series featuring Ray Kurzweil, Director of Engineering at Google. His talk is titled “The Acceleration of Technology in the 21st Century: the Impact on Business, the Economy and Society The adventure will take place Monday, February 10th. Please arrive at the Concert Hall by 7pm so that we can keep our group together. Look for the guy with the TEDxUNLV sign. We have 20 tickets and we will attempt to keep our group together in a couple of rows. Try and do your research, listen closely, and be prepared to ask questions. When asking questions, announce yourself as “Your Name – from TEDxUNLV”. Since we have limited tickets, you need to register for the event. Go to tedxunlv/events/adventure/ and fill out the form. The deadline for registration is 5pm February 9th, and unclaimed tickets will be returned to the box office. We might have pre/post lecture activity, and I will provide updates on this page, and will contact those that register directly.
