Our French CB Younes Kaboul is discussing personal terms with Lazio, following the clubs acceptance of a shock bid from the Serie A outfit. The likelihood of a deal is said to very high depending upon our completion of the £17m deal with Villareal for the services of 23 year old Argentinian Mateo Mussachio. Always an active player on the field, Kabouls workrate and guile have been let down by his injury record and the not unfair criticism that he is better going forward than getting back to defend. The club have already sold the 28 year old Frenchman once, to Harry Redknapps Portsmouth, but he returned shortly after Redknapp became our manager as Portsmouth could not complete payments on the transfer.
