Our Gathering Together Unto Him - - - Most Christians refer to “our gathering together unto Him (Jesus)” as “the rapture.” In 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17, Paul said, “the dead in Christ shall rise first; Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air.” He warned that before that day comes, apostasy will decimate the Church, and the Antichrist will be revealed. - - - 2 Thessalonians 2:3 - “Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition.”
