Our International Day of People with Disability - Australia celebrations continued in Forbes where we partnered with local council for a morning of fun activities including games, local music talent, tattoos and a delicious BBQ lunch. We also had the pleasure of listening to guest speaker, Emilie Miller, who shared her story about how she has not let her disability hold her back from pursuing her love of sport. Emilie was paralysed from the waist down at the age of twelve following a pool accident and is now excelling in hand cycling. Everyone had a great day and left feeling very inspired!
