Our Italian Life: First day back from our trip and Sam has decided today is the day to kill some of the roosters and also one of the rabbits. This has the household in a bit of an uproar with Carina in tears (I took her over to her friends house but shes coming back for lunch and says she wont eat), Sam in his element, Laura out laughing and helping Sam with the butchering, Luca wanting to help but now back inside watching Pooh Bear, and me.....well I dont want to see, or help, but I can hear them out in the courtyard and it seems that this morning has just highlighted our lack of communication and understanding. I know this is what we came to Italy for, the simple life and being self sustaining and yes Ill be having rabbit for lunch. Im totally committed to backing Carina in her own decision to eat or not. Ahhh Luca has just gone out to help....he is so curious and loves to see the way the insides work. He has a fascination for skeletons. Im assuming well have photos if you are interested I could put them in an album. I am committed to the lifestyle we have chosen, and I am committed to my own well being.....hence I choose to be here typing xxx Ahhh hearing conversations like what happens to the head - Luca Go get a towel, I saw the blood, should I do the wings? Are you on video? What an experience for Laura......
