Our Journey Back - Day 16 - Hurry Up and Wait It was difficult to see any progress in the shop yesterday. A small 2 man crew showed up to work on the 2 foot cut replacement piece of sheetrock on the main selling floor and prime the new back door. At the end of the day nothing more was done. Concluding something was not right, we made contact with the ServPro coordinator to learn that no work can continue on the firewall until after a meeting Wednesday morning with the engineers from the landlords insurance company and the cause and origin investigators to learn what their decisions are and the effect it will have on the firewall. To say it mildly, this is not only confusing but also frustrating and depressing. Our ambitious timeline to re-opening now seems to be in serious jeopardy. The accomplishments of the past 2 weeks have now faded into the foggy past. At this point, a plan B is necessary. Sorry! No new images today.
