Our Journey as One …“Have you not read that he who created them from the beginning made them male and female, and said, ‘Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’? So they are no longer two but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let not man separate.” (Matthew 19:4-6 ESV) Twenty-four years ago today we began this eternal journey as one. I never dreamed that it would be this much fun; This journeying as one. We have journeyed through the good and the bad; The troubled and the sad. We have had some highs and lows. We have even stepped on each other’s toes. But God has faithfully held us together; As we journey as one. We have laughed, we have sighed; We have mourned and we have cried. We have danced and we have kissed; And there is nothing that we have missed; As we journey as one. We have done with and without. We have seen each other’s best pout. Together we pray and we praise. Two godly kids we have raised. As we journey as one. As we continue to confidently walk with the One who joined us; You must know that everyday with you is an added bonus. I praise God creating you as the one that He created for me. An eternal love we will always have, you see. The Son has paid for us, an eternity.
