Our Journey so far with GEJ: he started with achieving 35% - TopicsExpress

Our Journey so far with GEJ: he started with achieving 35% affirmative action for women when he appointed women as ministers of almost all the vital ministries in Nigeria (Finance, Education, Aviation, Technology, Environment, petroleum etc) in addition to a power sharing deal with his First lady. He then proceeded with subsidy removal on PMS hence creating a lot of wealth for the country. Under his watch, a lot of projects are ongoing, the Abuja city rail project, NIPP power project, the Lagos-kano rail project, GSM for Nigerian farmers etc all being funded by foreign borrowings ( I wonder what happens to our domestic revenue). He witnessed Dangote being named the richest man in Africa and high in world ranking too which led to Nigeria being nicknamed “the poor-rich country” the shameful truth may be that under his watch, Nigeria also produce the world’s poorest man probably from the same region as Dangote, LOL (don’t quote me pls). he gave honours award to all those who contributed financially to his emergency as president. He has being faced with the insurgency of Boko Haram ever since he assumed office and a lot has being voted to end the menace, I can only hope he is winning the battle. He created several new universities even though the operators of the existing once say they are at the verge of collapse. He tried his best to reduce borrowings from the western world and moved to China hence increasing the number of Master allies we have. There was a flood that swept Nigeria away, His timely intervention and release of monies to the Governors of the affected states is still being questioned as a charity in futility. He announced the merger of several MDAs, the effects are still being awaited by Nigerians. His recognition of the Jang faction of the NGF elections is still being seen as an immorality in the eyes of many Nigerians. His privatization strategy implored in PHCN is rather worrying as great amount of public funds were used to standardize the company before being handed over to cheap buyers in addition to an exploitative tariff that was passed over to customers even b4 deregulation (why wont NERC learn from NCC). His quest for re-election reveals his identity as a true son of Ijaw land (there is a mafia still living in him). Under his leadership, PDP maintained the worse ever internal democratic ethics (He imposed a chairman on the members, fought his Govs to a standstill and later proposed his brother (Dickson) to head reconciliatory panel. Three Ministers have so far resigned from his cabinet (2 for very flimsy reasons). His elite centered NASS is carrying out a constitutional review, we still hope there will be light left at the end of the tunnel. His first lady have shown that some women should better be left in the kitchen as they are nuisance on a political stage……………………………… oh it has being a long ride with you our Excellency hope u haven’t taken us 4a ride, we promise to serve our fatherland even if u ve forgotten u did same. Long live Nigeria
