Our June 7 event is NOT TO BE MISSED! We have been prepping for months to participate in the ASPCA Rachael Ray #100KChallenge, and to start off the 3-month competition, we want to make June 7 the biggest adoption day in the history of the shelter! Please help us by sharing this post with your friends, volunteering, printing flyers and delivering to your office or businesses in Williamson County, and inviting everyone you know to participate. Our theme for the Challenge is SUMMER OF STARS and our lovable pets (the stars) will be named for celebrities (I heard we might have a dog named George Clooney!) and will walk the red carpet (donated by Carpet Den Interiors) at every event. It is going to be spectacular...and the pup-arazzi will be there taking photos! The other big news we have to share is that all adoptions during the three- month challenge are NO-FEE ADOPTIONS. Our generous sponsors have prepaid all adoption fees, so qualified applicants will have no fees associated with their adoptions June-August! We are excited about competing against nine other U.S. shelters to save the most lives during June, July and August! There will be lots of summer events, and we will keep you informed of our plans and each adoption, as well as highlight our sponsors here on Facebook. So let the countdown begin: the Challenge officially starts June 1 and the kickoff is June 7 at the shelter. ADOPT A STAR-SAVE A LIFE!
