Our June 7th Sucia/Patos Island Bird Watching Cruise sold out so fast weve added a second bird watching cruise that weekend on Sunday June 8th. Join us for this cruise amongst the northern San Juan Islands, focusing on Sucia and Patos Islands. Pigeon Guillemots, a member of the Alcid family that includes auklets and puffins, are found year round in the Salish Sea. This pigeon-sized water bird is found in large numbers in the San Juan Islands, and are in their beautiful breeding plumage during this time. These saltwater birds come to land only to nest in rocky crevices in the isolated islands of the Salish Sea.
