Our Kitty City residents are just loving the beautiful spring and summer days, and they love spending a little time outside, and finding some bright spots inside to soak up some sun. They all got to run and play this morning in their outside area and, as you can see, needed a nice long nap time afterward. We were hoping to get some action video of our kitties but the only action they seemed to want to partake in was snoozing! Have you heard of the program that our Kitty City cats are on? Its our Share-A-Pet program, and our beautiful kitties sure would love for you to be a part of it. The way it works is that you would sponsor one of our deserving Kitty City residents, and become a part time pet parent. Sponsoring a Share-A-Pet is wonderful thing to do if you are unable to have a pet of your own. You can come in anytime, to visit with your Share-A-Pet and give them lots of love and attention. Even if you have pets of your own, its such a great feeling to help a pet that may not have experienced much love in their life prior to coming to live with us. Most of our Share-A-Pets, whether they are cats or dogs, were either victims or abuse, neglect, abandonment, or they came to us after their owner passed away to live out their life in peace and harmony. Every one of our Kitty City residents has a story......Carolina and Backup were abused terribly at a testing lab down in North Carolina. Bernie was the victim of abuse and torture when he had chemicals thrown on him. Linda came to us with a broken pelvis. These are just a few of the stories, and the reason why we feel that these cats deserve to live the best life ever, for the rest of their lives.
