Our MSEP partner, Greenback Expat Tax Services, is seeking an experienced ‘Practice Manager (Branch Manager or Human Resources Manager)’ to help manage a virtual team of accountants. Position Overview:- The manager is responsible for the day to day management of the accounting team including, but not limited to: day to day team leadership, development and hiring, assist in business development and client retention; timely reporting to the business owners; unrivaled levels of customer service; and technical leadership for business and technical advisement to client base. The person in this role will work directly with the owners of this fast growing dynamic company. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced people manager to work in a fast paced, virtual, global environment. The position is full time with fixed hours and is US-Based (or US Time Zone). Position Responsibilities:- • Overall management of a team of 20+ virtual accountants and one practice specialist. * Develop, implement, and administer procedures and best practices to streamline processes for accountant team members. * Perform regular audits in order to identify gaps in performance, adherence to established protocol and procedure and address them in a timely manner. * Assist in the development and maintenance of key performance “dashboards” that will be used to provide the business owners with an accurate depiction of the organizations state of affairs. Position Requirements:- • Experience working in a virtual environment • 5+ years of general management experience managing a team of professionals or equivalent combination of education and experience. • 3+ years proven experience growing and managing a team • Proven track record of solving practical problems and dealing with a variety of variables in situations where limited standardization exists. • Proven ability to handle a high-volume workload at a high level of efficiency including monitoring production; answering technical processing questions; and client reporting. • Proven experience in standardizing processes, creating training materials, process improvement, project management and development. • High proficiency with office software applications including CRM systems • High level of proficiency and comfort with technology specifically in a completely virtual environment • Proven business development experience and excellent client retention skills The ideal candidate for this position: • Is detail focused, ambitious and seeking a high growth fast paced environment • Is self-motivated, energetic and able to build a leadership presence in a virtual environment • Has the ability to work with peers, staff and senior management collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. * Has strong verbal and written communication skills High levels of interpersonal and communication skills paired with the ability to positively influence morale, foster creation of a team oriented environment, and motivate the team. • Has exceptional organizational and time management skills • Is a detail oriented leader and individual contributor with the ability to identify not just problems, but also solutions • Possesses an unquestionable level of integrity and respects quality assurance requirements. • Has a history of building relationships with clients and colleagues and is committed to fostering and maintaining a service culture.
