Our Market Comments as of September 11th, 2014 US Equity Markets closed in positive territory last night, interrupting the negative streak we saw in the beginning of the trading week. The Nasdaq Composite gained the most on the day, registering gains of 0.75% on the day, supported mainly by the come back in the Apple Inc stock, which closed above 100 usd price per share. The S&P500 and the Industrial index Dow closed also higher, by 0.36% and 0.32%, respectively. In addition to stronger equites, we continued seeing a stronger USD due to strong usd data and ahead of the FOMC meeting next week where more information are expected to be given by the FED. European markets are in negative territory in the first hour of trading, despite talk of a firm solution between the Russian - Ukrainian parts, and a positive Asian session overnight.
