Our North & South Nodes in our personal charts helps us to identify our Souls journey. Some astrologers refer to the North and South Node as the Dragons Head or the Dragons Tail. Many times Ive heard people say - be scared of your South Node.....my response is why??. Our South Node simply shows us where we resided in the past lifetime.....ie what our purpose was then & how we deal with our purpose. Sometimes in this lifetime.......we prefer to go and reside in our South Node - because it feels comfortable - - it is what we know........BUT.....is that the best place for us? NO! We NEED to be in our North Node location......because that is our purpose for THIS lifetime! (Obviously it is straight across from our North Node)......so there is a polarity there (It is never just about one sign)...... This of it this way............imagine two people holding a rope....the person on the right of the rope is holding it lower than the person holding the rope on the left.......now you are trying to sit on that rope. Obviously you will slide to the side on the right (South node - where you feel the most comfortable - and what you did in a past lifetime)....... You need to climb that rope to get to the left side........so its about evolving, learning, and becoming the strongest and bestest us we can be. Is it normal to slide back and forth? Absolutely!!! But....when you achieve getting to the top of that left hand side you feel soooooo good!! Identifying and looking at that polarity in a chart is extremely interesting. At our last Astrology class we identifed where that was showing up in everyones chart......lots of nods around the class as it helped them understand why they truly do what they do - - and why they continue to slide up and down on that rope throughout life......but it majorly helped them to see where they NEED to be!!
